It is very, very unfortunate that the old flair of the kitchen yard and the friendly tenants have been lost! We always loved coming there! Now he looks cool and fashionable ... We didn't want to stay, so we can't say anything about the kitchen.

After the restart, there is still plenty of room for improvement! Ambience seems very intentional and not really inviting, but that is a matter of taste. Viennese veal with cucumber potato salad was great, the leg of venison was dry and carelessly seasoned. The service also didn't seem very committed. We'll be back soon anyway ...

Were there today with 6 adults and three children and wanted to drink coffee, eat waffles. Coffee came, waffles didn't. Was forgotten. Children drove home angry and hungry. No thanks for that

Unfortunately a big culinary disappointment. We are absolute restaurant-goers and love good food. We stopped in the kitchen courtyard after our trip to Altenberg Cathedral. The ambience is very nice and inviting. Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn't match the rather high prices at all. In addition, there is a very unfriendly service. The boss in particular scared us off with her harsh manner towards a family with children “we are a restaurant and you don't go out to eat with children”. We will probably not come back. It's a shame because we ate very well in the old restaurant a few years ago.

Great ambience, simple elegance, everything fits together. High standard. Good, honest cuisine at a reasonable price. Attentive competent staff. Just to feel good.

We stopped there with five people. The main courses outside of the 3-course menu were plentiful, while the main course of the menu was unfortunately very well arranged on the plate. But this was not due to the excellent meat or the asparagus; No: Unfortunately the supplement was skimpy. Two blobs of puree are just not enough and you won't get anywhere near full. In addition, the main course of the menu was only lukewarm, but still great in taste. The seasoning was perfect. It was also a shame that we didn't all get our food at the same time. That really still has to be worked on. And please do not reach over the plate when serving. This is really a no-go! All in all, however, a very nice restaurant and therefore 4 stars. Every beginning is difficult, but I am confident that it will still work out. We will go there again and hope that the "deficiencies" will then be resolved.

Desert "Mousse au chocolat" highly recommended, porcini mushroom risotto went like that. The interior of the restaurant is attractively designed - but unfortunately looks very cool and a bit very sober.

Unfortunately, I couldn't order anything to eat there, as the lunch menu only offered 2 starters and 2 desserts until 5 p.m. Unfortunately it wasn't mentioned anywhere, if I had known that you couldn't order more than half of the menu, I would not have gone in at all. Well, since we were out all day and were thirsty, we decided to at least order something to drink, as the atmosphere is really nice there. We waited over 15 minutes for two drinks, waitress totally unfriendly. After the 15 minutes we decided to cancel the order and go elsewhere. There was no apology from the waitress, just a "well, that's how it is".

Disappointing! Charm is missing. The friendliness and the service can be improved significantly. It feels like mass processing on Sunday afternoon. The rules for Covid19 are only partially observed

After 10 minutes of waiting the boss sent her to another table in a rather unfriendly manner. Then it looked like this another 15 minutes later. Actually a shame: great location, good cake, ... The waiter was very friendly in the end after a long time ignored by the boss and colleague.

There is good-tasting home-style cuisine here! We were 6 people and had not made reservations. The restaurant was almost fully booked by early Sunday evening. Reservation recommended. It is positive that two tables were spontaneously put together for our group and we were thus given a seat. The price / performance ratio just barely works. But is already at the upper end of the scale. Eating is definitely very tasty! There are large portions. We were offered to refill the fries free of charge, but we were already full :-) The photos show the grill plate and the accompanying starter salad. Would love to come back!
